It all started with dabbling, drawing with stick figures and adding speech bubbles. Little by little, I taught myself to draw better (at least better than stick figures), from watching Claire Bretécher draw her wiggly people to taking some tips from Scott Mc Cloud’s primer. A retired college professor who has published on graphic novels, I now spend my time doing a lot of drawing in a studio in Vermont.
